We bring people together to build with AI.

Hands-on events where students and professionals create real things with AI. No experience required. Just show up and build.

Starting June 2026

The summer series.

Free community nights across the summer. Build sessions, AI conversations, and looser meetups around the city. The warmup before Build It lands in the fall.

On the horizon

Build It.

Our flagship buildathon. Teams get a challenge, a constraint, and a deadline. Everyone ships something real, together. Coming to Philadelphia.

See what we're building

Four moments. Every time.

The schedule changes. The format evolves. These four things are always part of the experience.

01

Learn

A live workshop brings everyone up to speed on the tools before anyone starts building.

02

Build

Teams tackle a challenge using AI. The constraint keeps it creative. The deadline keeps it real.

03

Present

Every team shows what they made. The audience reacts. The moment makes the whole evening worth it.

04

Connect

Meet the people you built with. Exchange ideas. Walk away with new connections and perspectives.

Not another AI lecture.

01

Buildathons

Teams get a challenge, a constraint, and a deadline. Everyone builds something real, together. The flagship Build It series is on the horizon.

02

Interviews

Short-form conversations with AI professionals about how they actually use the technology in their day-to-day work. Real stories from real practitioners.

03

Community

Monthly meetups, online connections, and a growing network of students and professionals who believe AI should be accessible to everyone.

"We didn't start oneprompt because we had all the answers. We started it because we wanted a place where people could figure it out together."

Neil Rayarao & Eyob Treiser Brown, Co-Founders

oneprompt events

The best way to learn AI is to build with it.

Our events put tools in your hands and people at your side. You show up curious. You leave with something you built.

You build something real

Not a tutorial output. A product you designed, named, and presented to a room full of people.

No experience needed

Every event starts with a live workshop. We teach you the tools before you use them.

Students meet professionals

Teams are intentionally mixed. That's where the real learning happens.

Networking that matters

Connect with professionals and peers you might not meet outside of these events. Real relationships built through collaboration.

Every event is built around four moments.

The schedule changes. The format evolves. But these four things are always part of the experience.

oneprompt interviews

Real people. Real conversations.

Short-form interviews with AI professionals about how they actually use the technology in their day-to-day work. Real stories from real practitioners.

Watch on LinkedIn

The archive.

Every conversation so far. New episodes drop on LinkedIn first.

More coming soon

We're booking new conversations with AI professionals across Philadelphia.

Then AI changed everything.

Every interview follows the same arc: the human story, then the moment AI entered. No scripted takes. Just a real conversation.

01

The human story

Who are you and what problem were you solving?

02

The turning point

When did AI enter? What changed?

03

The honest take

What works, what doesn't, what do you wish people knew?

04

The future

Where is your field heading?

Know someone with a story?

We're looking for AI professionals who want to share their honest experience. No script needed.

oneprompt community

You don't have to figure out AI alone.

A growing network of students and professionals in Philadelphia who believe AI should be built with, not just read about.

Not a Slack group.
Not a mailing list.

oneprompt is a community centered around hands-on experiences with AI. We run buildathons where people create products with AI. We host casual meetups. We film interviews with professionals who share what AI actually looks like in their work.

The people here are marketing students, finance professionals, engineers, founders, designers, and people who are still discovering their strengths and skills. The thing they share: curiosity.

Three things that make this different.

Building over talking

Most AI communities talk about what AI could do. We sit down and build. Every event ends with something tangible.

Access over gatekeeping

No CS degree, GitHub profile, or developer title required. If you're curious, you're qualified.

In person over online

Our events are in Philadelphia, face to face, where the energy is real and the connections last.

Find us where you already are.

We show up in person, but we stay connected in between.

Before you ask.

Do I need coding experience? +
No. Every Build It starts with a 30-minute workshop. Your teammates fill in the gaps.
Is this only for Drexel students? +
Not at all. Open to students from any university and professionals at any stage.
How much does it cost? +
Our events are free. Sponsors cover venue and food so money is never a barrier.
What do I need to bring? +
A laptop and an open mind. Create a free Claude account before you arrive.
Can I come if I already know a lot about AI? +
Absolutely. The constraint is what makes it challenging, not the tools.

The next event is being
planned right now.

About oneprompt

Two students. One mission.

We started oneprompt because we believe AI shouldn't be intimidating. It should be something you build with, not something you hear about in a lecture hall.

Then AI changed everything.

We were two students at Drexel who kept hearing about AI in every class, every headline, every LinkedIn post. But we wanted more than just hearing about it. We wanted to actually build with it, and we knew we weren't the only ones.

So we started oneprompt. First as interviews with AI professionals. Then as content. Now as a community. The evolution was simple: we realized the most powerful way to learn AI isn't watching someone talk about it. It's building something with it, alongside people who think differently than you.

That's what we're building in Philadelphia. A place where students meet professionals, ideas meet tools, and curiosity meets capability. One event at a time.
